Hi Dawn, many thanks for getting in touch and for reading The Liar’s Chair. I’m so pleased you enjoyed it! I do have another book in the pipeline, and am working on a late stage draft as we speak, so hopefullly not to long until publication. Will keep my author page updated as and when I know. A very Happy New Year to you too :) x

Hello Craig, many thanks for your question. At present the easiest way for you to get a copy is to order through Amazon UK. There will I think be a shipping charge. Hope that's OK, and hope you enjoy the read!

I'm working on a second book, another contemporary psychological thriller, though not a sequel to The Liar's Chair.

Write what you want to write not what you think you should be writing, and don't try to follow a current trend as it will have passed by the time your book is ready. Your unique voice is your strongest selling point, so keep writing in your style to make stories you would want to read. Return to the prose over and over and polish each sentence.

The best thing about being a writer is being able to communicate my thoughts in a coherent and fluid way. It's like having the perfect conversation, one I come away from knowing that everything I said was expressed and articulated exactly how I wanted. And writing also gets rid of all that inner muck - I feel lighter after a good day at my desk.

I find it helpful to mix up the environment where I work with something as simple as changing my desk from office to kitchen table, or I go to the library or a cafe. Sometimes being surrounded by lots of people and noise has the effect of helping to focus my rambling attention. But mostly I keep returning to the work and try to power on through, even if I write in note form for a while. The following day I can return to that framework and start to flesh it out into (hopefully) useable prose.
