Don't be disappointed to the point that you quit after writing your first book because it didn't sell. It's your first time and it takes time to become good at writing. Avoid cliche's; if they're not original, then people have read them before. Therefore, create your own. Never think that a few errors scattered about in your writing are acceptable with the reader because they're not. When people buy a book, they don't want to pay for your mistakes.
