What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jeff Shelnutt I simply enjoy the avenue that the writing process offers me to flesh out my own perspective and convictions. And hopefully, the reader will feel like his time has been well spent!

What are you currently working on?
Jeff Shelnutt I'm currently working on Book 3 in the Backland series. I hope to release it as an ebook in April 2015.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jeff Shelnutt My most recent book, Backland: Unremembered, is a post-apocalyptic thriller. We are living in a time in history where this world is experiencing societal change and upheaval at an unprecedented rate. I wanted to try my hand at giving my own version of a future that I hope we never experience. Along the way, perhaps the reader will receive a perspective that challenges him/her to think about their own individual role in shaping that future. And I hope it proves to be an entertaining read!
