The best thing about writing is that I can create a plot to a story while I'm walking in the wood with my dog. The fresh air and nature always inspires me. I also love getting messages and pictures from children who have read the books.

All of my books are based on events that children may have to deal with before the age of 10, so I get the ideas from friends, television and my clients. The latest book "The New Arrival - Love Lends a Hand" is to help children understand and manage their feelings when a new sibling arrives.
