I read the epilog of your book and am wondering, what was it like to get your brother's permission to publish that part of his story?

Julie Barton Hi Alex, Thanks for asking! I was very nervous when asking him. But after he read the book, he said that I had his full blessing. He loved it and said he was very proud of me. The thing I like to remind readers is that he was a child when this was happening. Hurt kids hurt kids. He's a good man now, clearly, since he decided to let our story be a public one. He said he thought our difficult sibling story could help some people. I couldn't have agreed more, and know now that it definitely has made a difference in many people's lives. Thanks again, Julie
