I'm not being conceited when I say this, but this hasn't happened to me thus far in my career. Most of the time, I just can't contain what my brain conjures up. That can also be frustrating because I'm working on one project, but something else comes along and distracts me.

Write and read EVERY day! Even if you think what you've written is garbage, do it anyway. Don't be afraid to fail. That's the only way you'll find out what works for you and what doesn't. Write fearlessly and edit ruthlessly-I had a college writing prof tell me that and it's been invaluable advice to me.

Well, my characters usually just give me a boot in the behind and make me put down what they tell me. I really don't have a choice. LOL
