Sally Cronin I have never been at that point. I usually have two or three works in progress across genres or non-fiction and fiction. I find that moving between them offers a break and a change of focus. If I find I am getting stale, then I take a break from writing and enjoy one of my other passions.
Sally Cronin Writing to be read and receiving a review that shares your enthusiasm and excitement about your work that you do. Money would be great but recognition of the time and effort that has gone into a book is the most exhilarating feeling.l
Sally Cronin My advice is to do your homework. Find your market first and many genres these days are popular but this means that thousands of books in that genre will be published each week. What unique twist can you put on your book to make it stand out from the crowd. Then get an online platform before your book is published.. blog, twitter, Facebook so that you have a launch pad. Then follow other authors and bloggers, especially those open to reviewing and marketing books for free..
Sally Cronin I have three works in progress, all very different, my first poetry and flash fiction collection, a short story collection - 13 dog and 13 cat stories and a collection of four novellas about a crime fighting elderly sewing circle.
