I wanted to find a poem for my grandchildren that would inspire them and help them understand the deeper meaning of Easter so they could read it at dinner time. I wasn't able to find any, only ones with a completely religious focus, or about bunnies and egg hunts, so I decided to write my own poem which they enjoyed so much that it encouraged me to write one for each of the major holidays and special days of the year, each with a spiritual or metaphysical message.
