The only Christmas stories I have are available on Amazon in the Kindle edition of Christmas Stuff by Sunny Weather. My Halloween story isn't available anywhere at the moment. I'm planning on doing something more with it, but due to things going on in my life, I haven't had the chance to carry out my plans.

Simultaneously, there was no longer any internet and all the books in the world vanished. And if the chaos from these events wasn’t bad enough, Elvis Impersonator Zombies began taking over what little remained of the world.

I would go to St. Mary Mead and I would spend every moment I could with Miss Marple. I would do whatever she wanted to do. Just being with her would be the best thing in the world.

Most everything I've written has started out with a character paying a visit and insisting on telling me their story. At times the name comes first, at others the goal they want to accomplish is followed by a name.

The best thing about being a writer is that I'm pretty good at it and enjoy the process of putting words to paper. I also enjoy making people feel good, which I've been told my stuff does.

Bang my head against the wall a few times!
Actually, I usually leave whatever it is that's giving me trouble for a few days and work on something else. Sometimes this helps. Other times, I pick up one of Lawrence Block's books about writing and read his advice about being blocked and feel better knowing that I'm not alone. Sometimes, I send an email to a good friend and rant about the problem I'm having and that somehow releases the log-jam and I'm able to get back to work. It's always different each time.
And I always keep in mind that this too shall pass.

Read the type of stories/books you want to write. Read books about writing by writers. I've read everything written by Lawrence Block about writing. I know there are others out there, but I chose to focus on his stuff years ago and it's always been a help. You may find someone else who speaks to you. And then sit-down and actually write. If you don't write you can't know what you might be able to accomplish.
