Writing is hard work. There are many hurdles but if you love writing, do not give up. Never cheat your readers with insufficient editing or research. To have the freedom to create something out of nothing is wonderful. Also, the feeling when a reader tells you they've enjoyed your book and want to know more about it...and when is the next one coming out...it's like having your engine refuelled!

At present I am working on the follow up novel to Goods By Hand. It should have been finished by now, my self imposed deadline was this Autumn, but I can't seem to leave it alone!

I've never had writer's block because ideas are all around us. When I stop writing it is more a case of delaying 'the end' of the novel because I hate saying goodbye to my characters.
