Dee Kearney I have just written NOT GOING AWAY! as a fictional book to blow away the government misinformation and attempts to discredit the WASPI / 1950s women after a cash grab of 181 billion of their pensions without notice, impact assessment or conscience.
Dee Kearney mmm! tricky one... Sometimes I don't write, others I just sit down and start and usually it comes. I tend to know when I am on a totally uncreative day and then it is best left alone. On the whole, I write whenever I am allowed the time by life in general. Now juggling three books one just out, one in the edit and soon to be published and one almost complete will be very interesting in terms of time management.
Dee Kearney Don't start writing if you haven't the stamina to pursue it to the end and market it yourself. Also refine, refine, refine! That is the hardest part. the writing is easy. When 'Children of May' is finished, there will be weeks of refining and checking for me.
Dee Kearney I have Naverworld, a children's fantasy in the edit for publication later this year from Crimson Cloak Publishing and I am currently working on a hefty family saga, which is very close to finishing. So as you can see I am very diverse across several Genre's
Dee Kearney As an artist and previous stage designer for many years, working across TV, Film, and Theatre, I am inspired by all things, so no particular calling to any genre. I have an idea and then I am overcome by the need to follow it and it becomes all-consuming.
Dee Kearney I have had a long term interest in all things spiritual and this instance I pondered on the likelihood that palmistry actual dictates the path of your life. from there the idea started to form that I could use it as an undercurrent to the thriller I was about to write.

Not usually a sci-fi writer, this idea took me in a whole other direction and I just followed it and the flow and idea for the novel came very easily.
