Fran Rogers My most recent book First Things That Last Forever was written two months ago. In the middle of preparing the other four books for publication, the Lord gave me this one for a dual purpose: as a free gift to those that would be drawn to our work, mainly for the series Little Books About the Magnitude of God and as an introduction to our ministry of publishing by the name of Father and Family Books, from Acts 1:8 (fatherandfamily.com.)
Fran Rogers There never seems to be a time that I am not inspired. From the time I wake until I lie down again, God's presence is with me. His Spirit continues to inspire me to write or speak what He is revealing of His grace, His goodness, His mercy, His joy. "A very present help" not only in trouble but at all times.
As Jesus described in John 7:36-39 the Spirit is like a river that flows from our hearts. The most amazing inspiration is during times of meditation and memorization of His Word ~ and during prayer ~ the mind and the heart working together to document who and what He is to us as His creation and His people..
Fran Rogers After publishing our first five books this month, we are working on two:
editing one that we have already written, and writing God Is Our Goal, based on the relationship between God, as our Father, preparing us for eternity with Him, and preserving us as His people here on earth until the time that He will bring us home to be with Him.
Fran Rogers Write what you know. If you are writing from your experience, spend more time in God's Word and in prayer. The words will come in His timing. Don't let writing be your most important work. Live your life as a follower of Christ, and from His presence and power with you, in the relationships He gives you, you will have more than you could ask for or imagine you could write.
Fran Rogers It is my opportunity and joy to write what I have learned from God through my 77 years.
Fran Rogers I spend more time in prayer and God's Word.
