Cary Watson I'll try and keep a long story short: My great-uncle Thomas Rawn, at age 64, went into the bush in northwestern Ontario to check on some land he owned. He was never seen again. He was only supposed to be gone for a day and all he had with him were a compass, water cup and a revolver. His wife didn't report him missing for a week. Ten years after he disappeared, loggers found a skeleton in a shallow grave near where he went missing. Buried with it was the water cup and the compass. There were two bullet holes in the skull. Forensic examination found that the skeleton was that of a Native Canadian male, not Rawn. A mystery to this day.
