She dismissed the strange noises she thought she'd heard outside. They never found her body.

This is a difficult one. My life isn't exactly a great mystery. I use a lot of my past experiences to feed into what happens in my books, but I can honestly say most of what happens to me doesn't fit that.
Really, my big mysteries are the really big, unanswerable ones: why are we here? what is my purpose?
In a way, I guess I do try to figure those out in my plots.

I don't really have a favorite couple. I tend to see characters as individuals only. Sometimes two characters have a romantic relationship that I like, but I don't really keep track of couples.

Generally, I am more inspired when I've had an idea that really works for my WIP (work in progress) or solves an issue I've had with the plot. Those idea break-throughs really get me eager to write out the scenes.

I don't really believe in writer's block. Some days I'm more eager to write than others, but if I sit down to write, it does happen. So when I feel "blocked", I make sure to sit down and write anyways.

I get to talk about the weird crap in my head and no one thinks I should be locked up for it!

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming! - Dory, Finding Nemo
Never give up! Never surrender! - Jason Nesmith, Galaxy Quest
Seriously, the only difference between you and me is practice and time, and the practice may be negligible.

I have an excel file that I named The Spreadsheet. I keep track of all my works: poetry, novels, shorts, everything. I also track what stage it is in and when it was first published. I currently have 6 WIPs (works in process), 2 rewrites, 1 edit and 14 concepts. I usually work on the one that I feel has the nearest deadline (which at this time is a short story for an anthology, followed by the next Runespells book).
