Richard, have you read Mark Twain's Joan of Arc? In case you haven't, he says it's the reason he became a writer...and he spent something like 13 years writing it....tremendous read! love, Carolyn

Richard Payment I read Mark Twain's "Joan of Arc," but I can't remember a word. I fell in love with Mark Twain's writing as a child. "Tom Sawyer" was my last children's book, followed by my first adult book: "Huckleberry Finn." I then went on to read every Twain book I could find. I guess I read a lot of stuff I didn't understand, including "Joan of Arc." I was only in grade 8. I do remember enjoying "Life on the Mississippi" a lot. What is your favourite Mark Twain?
