First, I really enjoyed your book. There were no copies in my county library system but I am happy to report that they ordered one for me! The history of Spiritualism is fascinating and I appreciate so much your research. I not only enjoyed the story but I learned a lot. Your story takes place in Philadelphia. In your research, in what other cities were mediums popular during that same time period?
Alan Finn What a nice library you have! Libraries in general rock, and it's great to hear when they help connect readers with books. Now, in answer to your question, mediums were popular pretty much everywhere during that time period. Most major metropolitan areas had them, as well as smaller towns. I came upon plenty of articles from across the country regarding the exploits of sham mediums.

Will there be a sequel with Edward and Lucy? I really enjoyed their story and am hoping for more!
Alan Finn First, I do a little happy dance every time I hear that someone enjoyed THINGS HALF IN SHADOW. So while I dance, I'll tell you that, yes, I'm working on another adventure with Edward and Lucy. All I can say right now is that it starts exactly where THINGS HALF IN SHADOW ends.
