Not sure if this refers to the AAFL or if the XFL is also coming back, but I don't think the landscape of sports has changed to the point that the XFL would be any more successful than it was a decade ago. Arena Football survives--sort of--by being a similar but different game that can play in small venues and therefore doesn't need crowds of 60-70 thousand at every game. The problem with any alternate league to the NFL is that the NFL players have such name recognition and the teams have such history that you probably would need to pump money into the league for ten or fifteen years before building up the kind of interest needed to sustain another league. The USFL tried this back in the 70s and while it was moderately successful, well, you can see where they are now.

If that bothered you, I hate to think of your reaction to the rest of the series...

(view spoiler)[Hello, I have read all of "Out of Position" series, then "Tales of the Firebirds" and now I'm reading "Ty game" and in almost every book there is a thing with an unfaithful husband and best linebacker Gerrard Marvel. And I was wondering if you would be able to precise more his situation with his wife. Have they eventually got divorced? How the things between them have panned out in the long run. Does he love his wife? (hide spoiler)]

I'll just say that the new Dev and Lee book, coming out later this year, answers the first two questions. The last one is a lot more complicated because I think you'd get different answers depending on who you ask.
You can find a preview of the new book in my newsletter at bit.ly/kyellmail (old newsletters are archived) from a few months ago.

I don't know any writer who doesn't deal with this from time to time. Everyone has different ways of getting through it. Mine is to talk myself through it logically, to look at the past books I've written and the times I've doubted myself during those projects, and to point out that the books turned out pretty okay. You have to remember that as long as you're doing the best you can and keeping your mind open to new things, you can't demand any more from yourself.

I've got new books coming out pretty regularly. I have a monthly newsletter at http://bit.ly/kyellmail where I talk about all the stuff coming up. Thanks so much!

(view spoiler)[Hi!,
I was re-reading the Volle Saga and i would like to know if any character of the Forester universe is blood related to the characters in the Volle universe, like for example, Lee being a direct descendant of Volle or maybe Sol a direct descendant of Lord Tistunish, could this be true? *SPOILER ALERT* something like what happened with Meg been a descendant of a priest, thanks again. No, the two universes are completely separate. :)

Black Angel, because not only was I trying to splice three narratives together, I was trying to write from three different female perspectives.

I like animals the way they are, pretty much. There are times when I wish I could talk to my dog and just tell him, "I promise I'll be back in an hour, just lie down and chill." But overall I would like there to be anthro animals, just not in the place of the ones that are already there.

All of my characters are me to some extent, and more so if they're foxes. I can't really distinguish between those two, though. And as for which I enjoy writing about more, well, Volle has two novels and a few short stories; Lee has five novels and a few short stories, so that tells you something. :)

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but the musical Miss Saigon focuses on similar issues.
Kyell Gold
It really depends on the story. If I want the reader to be intimately involved with all the main character's thoughts and decisions, then first person is best. To keep the MC at a bit of a remove (though not much), I go to tight third. But honestly, most stories naturally drop into one or the other as I'm thinking about them. I have rarely switched once I started, as I recall.
Kyell Gold
All I can say for sure is that there will be at least one more book and probably more stories with them...
Kyell Gold
Oh, that was in the print versions... I should try and get it into the e-books in the next revision cycle. I don't know if it's posted anywhere, but I'll put that on my list to do. Keep an eye on my blog here. :)
And thanks! I have a general idea to put out a short story collection for some of the other players, but nothing's firm yet. I will keep your suggestions in mind!

Maybe? I'd like to wrap up the current audiobook projects before I start another one. The problem is that there are always new books and they take priority.
Kyell Gold
It's up now! There are actually two versions of it up now, so I should probably merge them...
Kyell Gold
Probably "Waterways," because it was the first one to become really popular, and it made much of the rest of my career possible.

The one that changed me the most on my way of thinking is 'Water Ways' it really helped me define my perminent label for my sexutality. :3

Hey, thanks! I take auditions for my books through ACX.com, so if your friend is interested, have him check my page for books currently open for auditions or contact me with a specific title. I have three audiobooks currently in the works and plans for a couple more, but there are some that haven't been assigned yet.

I couldn't *not* write. I grew up reading books and wanted to tell stories like the ones I'd read, and the more I wrote, the more stories crowded my head asking to be let out. When I don't write, I get cranky and snappy, and when I finish a book and have to take a break, I feel lost for a day or two. So...there you are.
Kyell Gold
It's called "Uncovered." I published it last July! :)
I have a webpage at http://www.kyellgold.com/pubdates.html that lists known upcoming dates for my books. If they're not listed there, then the dates aren't confirmed yet.

I'm editing the manuscripts of four novels: Camouflage, the one I posted a draft of online last year; Over Time, the last in the Out of Position series; The Tower and the Fox, the first in a new series; and Black Angel, the last in the Dangerous Spirits series. I'm also working on Love Match, a tennis novel I will be posting through my Patreon.
