Well, other than my own characters, I assume? There are a couple of favorites from fiction. First is Polgara and Durnik from the Belgariad. I like how Durnik's gentle. laid back nature goes well with the power and authoritarian nature of Polgara. Some of Lady Shey and Gondrial were modeled after this couple as well as couple number two, Moiraine and Lan. Although Moraine and Lan from the wheel of time series are not in a romantic relationship they do have a relationship none the less. Although my character, Gondrial, os nothing like Durnik or Lan, Lady Shey definitely has traits in common with both Moiraine and Polgara. Gondrial is more a Han Solo, pirate, scoundrel type character. There are probably some others too but these two couples are my favorite. Oh yeah, Kahlan and Richard from the Sword of Truth comes to mind as well.

I have not dealt with it much yet. If I get stuck on something, I just think about the story for a while and work out the solution. There is ALWAYS a solution.

Interlude: Homecoming. A Novelette that tells a story between book 2 and book 3 of the Sacred Land Saga. I intended to put all the stuff from this novelette into Exiles but it proved to be too clunky and didn't fit well in that novel. It is a novelette packed with some answers to questions in the series that will move the story along nicely to book 3!

I play video games in the fantasy genre or I read. But mostly, I watch documentaries of real life history and it gets me excited to create a fictitious history of my own!

I don't know. Where do ideas come from? In Exiles from the Sacred Land I just wanted all my readers to know that my characters are not "all powerful" before I write the rest of the story where they all become "all powerful"
