I'm somewhat surprised by the reaction but completely understand! Until Rae yanks away his comfort zone (nothing like a good Charlie Brown reference!) he was just another arrogant you-know-what. She softens his cranky, grumpiness. While the ending may surprise, it makes him more relatable. Yes, the story will continue ~ how could it not?
