Hi Julie. I popped it into the mail on friday as I was racing out of town. I apologize. I didn't sign it, but do hope you appreciate the book. This is the ARC (advance reader's copy) and the real and corrected book will be coming out August 15th. Maybe we can get that one signed instead.

I interviewed an elderly French woman about traditional foods she prepared in France. I asked her about recipes she used during her years as a young wife. She threw her head back, laughed, and began to tell me about the war years of WWII. My life pivoted in that very moment. I was compelled to follow her story.

I am completing a companion cookbook to A Cup of Redemption, then I would like to finish the series of travel/food books, Savoring the Olde Ways. But, I'm also getting pressure to write another novel and I think it will take place in the Alsace of France. Again, another view on families and war.
