I think that telling stories is the best part of being a writer. It’s so much fun exploring different genres. I’ constantly pushing myself to create all kinds of books. I love the versatility of the art.

Write your novel, submit queries to agents or publishing companies. And if that doesn’t work, self-publish. This path isn’t an easy one. I find that my problem isn’t the writing part, it’s getting my material out there.

I am currently working on three different projects. I’m finishing up the sequel to “The Hunter.” I have probably four more chapters left. I’m writing “Salvage” which is the sequel to “Escape.” And I’m also working on a book called “Beautiful Rain.”

Music is my true inspiration. After I come up with an idea for a book, I make a play list of songs. The Music serves as a soundtrack to the particular novel.

I got the idea for Escape” while I was in youth group. When I was a teenager, I used to play a mental game with myself titled “What if?” So as we sat down for Sunday school, I was really bored. I didn’t want to embarrass myself by snoring so I asked myself, what if a girl named Daniela Jones existed. It’s strange how it all happened. I created first Daniela, then Carmen, and next Eliza. Chelsea’s name use to be Dana. But I changed it two years ago.
