For me, writing is a career. I get up (far too) early in the morning, fire up the coffee pot, munch on a bagel and after tackling emails / general social media promo stuff - I write. All day.
If I waited for inspiration, I'd never meet my deadlines. Now, if you asked, what drives me to write? I think it's a need to create, to control, to break rules, to push limits. Oh, and paying the rent and being able to buy dog food for my three crazy labs might be factors. ;)
