How do you get inspired to write?

Marja Aarnipuro The stories live in my head all the time. It’s no use to wait for inspiration. Writing is mostly about work and discipline.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marja Aarnipuro I was diagnosed with breast cancer ten years ago. During the treatment period I learned a lot about the cancer clinic. The old wisdom says: write about things you know - so I did. My oncologist friend helped me with details and the story.
