Tyler Nals Poker Notes is based on blog posts I had on a poker website. Since I didn't pay much attention to the site or know how to monetize it, I decided to turn it into an eBook. I think the information in the book can help out some beginners. I just hope they don't use those tactics on me.
Tyler Nals I'm always inspired to write. And I'm always trying to send an underlying message in my stories, but I never know if it will all be a waste of time.
Tyler Nals I'm about to publish Poker Notes. I have four other books I'd like to write (one is a sequel to The Dark Side of the Felt), but while I sell books almost every day, it's not enough to pay the bills. It's frustrating because the vast majority of people who read my books enjoy them. All that said, I just started publishing this year, so maybe it will take some time. I would like to write those other books, but I won't be able to unless there are sales for my current books.
Tyler Nals Find the best reviewers on FanStory and listen to the feedback. After one year, you will have learned more than you would by taking a college writing course.
Tyler Nals Creative freedom. However, any writing job I've had that takes away that creative freedom leads to a lack of enjoyment, and it's only a matter of time before I no longer work at that job.
Tyler Nals I write stories about writer's block: What Blocks is This, Irretrievable, The Insanity of Writer's Block, etc. These stories can be found in Twisted Sick and Mindful of Tricks.
