There's so many favorite books that become that way because of characters. So in my inability to remember names right now, I'll say Jon and Mandy from my book Red Gold. Mainly because it was my first book and they are more like me and my hubby, so that's a strong favorite! *cheesy grin*

I have to just force myself to sit in the chair and write. Write anything. Even if it's not on your current WIP. Do a magazine article. Anything. Just to get the writing juices flowing again and the confidence to return. I still find lots of excuses to not sit in the chair.

My hubby was a volunteer firefighter and rescue squad member for 5 years when we lived in MN. That and our love of the Colorado mountains and adventure fueled my book Rescue Me.
