Christian Koeder I don't have reading lists. Reading is like sleeping. It just happens.
Christian Koeder Vegan babies, people I know, people I've met, people I've heard of or read about, prisons, trying to teach, what I know about veganism, a long list of things.
Christian Koeder I'm not sure I get "inspired". Maybe it's more like an instinct. How do we get inspired to eat, or to drink water, or to do all the other instinct-associated things that we, and many other animals, do? One could say that the reason is the suffering of the masses, or the privilege of being in a position to be able to write. But probably the reason is more simple, and maybe one should ask a psychologist.
Christian Koeder I'm not sure. I don't think I'm a writer. The worst thing about being a writer is that only once you're dead, people in the future will understand the quality and significance of your writing. And maybe that there's less time for resting and skating, and it might increase your blood pressure, which will kill you. The best thing might be that you're creating something meaningful, even if no one else currently alive is able to grasp that. Being a writer also shows you who your friends are, which might not be a particularly good or bad thing, but it can be interesting.
Christian Koeder Writer's block is when you don't feel like writing at that moment. So, you just go do something else, like go skateboarding.
Christian Koeder Oh, that's in my little black book.
Christian Koeder There's nothing to writing. Just write something down. That's writing. Be like Hemingway, a vegan Hemingway, but happier.
Christian Koeder Many animals are slaughtered every day. And this is completely unnecessary.
