Robert Walton I am writing in the past. 1970's to be precise, and try and throw relevant timely matters into the stories. I can't use modern day technology, for example, so cell phones are out and it is easy to forget things like that. I am currently writing about the Russian Amber room and more specifically Nazi stolen art, of which there is still, to this day, a ton of it missing.
I just hope no one finds the room before I'm done with the book.
Robert Walton I am writing another thriller based on the same Protagonist, Harry Thursday.
After this one I want to get back to the science fiction that has been brewing for years.
Robert Walton write early and often. Have your work critiqued by someone who does it for a living. Join a group such as Pennwriters. When you are ready, submit your work to an agent or publisher and do it repeatedly until you get somewhere. Make changes in your work all the say. Remember, your stories are not written in stone.
Robert Walton The world is yours. You have complete control. People ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I kill people.
Robert Walton I don't. Usually I take a break from writing for a few days. Tend to marketing and other such things. Maybe watch a shit load of movies.
Robert Walton It's easy to think of inspiration if you have a recurring character to work with.
