For me the best thing about writing is the ability to express myself in words. Its a very fulfilling experience for me personally. I write because I feel like writing. Words have power and its extremely satisfying when I can use my words to touch someone and help them bring about a change in their lives.

My book is based on my experiences in the Corporate world. I have been fortunate enough to have a very successful career. This has been possible through some important lessons I learnt from all my managers. I just felt it was appropriate to share my learnings with the next generation.

I think this really depends on each writer and how he or she works. For me ideas generally come when I'm not actively thinking about a subject. What has worked for me is to carry a handy notes tool like Evernote or OneNote to capture ideas and then get down to writing as soon as I can.
