For a lot of writers, that means doing it first thing - getting up early, shutting out the people and animals you care about, and sitting at your desk for an hour, three hours, 1000 words - and don't leave until you're done. You can leave early if you're done!

And remember to live - if you think about writing all the time then you probably won't have much to write about...
