Hi Stenetta, My genre is historical fiction. What was the breakthrough event that propelled your success? How did it happen? What's the one thing a new author needs to pay attention to? Regards
STENETTA S ANTHONY Hello Alvin, I consider both large and small breakthrough event to propell succcess. One small is when my book was accepted by a library and the most recent is to become a receipent of Mom's Choice Award making me an award-winning award.
Something I believe new author should be aware is comparision. Every author's journey is different, celebrating each success whether small or great.

Stenetta Anthony, you're the first person I've met who studied at Grand Canyon University. Looking back, did that enhance your sense of wonder while in college? STENETTA S ANTHONY I am currently working on a 5 story book.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
STENETTA S ANTHONY The idea for A Home for Sally can from observing that special needs dogs where not featured during adoption segments.

STENETTA S ANTHONY My young students inspired me to write.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
STENETTA S ANTHONY As an aspiring you should know your audience of readers. Also research and connect with established authors. Know that you are not only a writer but a business person as well. Lastly do not share your unfinished story with everyone.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
STENETTA S ANTHONY I would travel to the land of the gold circle. Traveling here so I can see what transforms the life of a little girl.

STENETTA S ANTHONY During the summer months I do a lot of crossword puzzle.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
STENETTA S ANTHONY Everything! It allows you the freedom to use your imagination and venture into areas of the unknown. As a writer, I can let the kid in me out through my writing.
