Someone asked me if I was going to write a prequel or sequel to Getaway Day. I hadn't really thought about it. But, I knew that I wanted to write a novel about the Baby Boomer experience. So, I decided to combine the two. I would write a series of books that focus on a key year in our nation's history and in the life of the protagonist, Mikey Wright.
