I am currently working on self-publishing a collections of short stories, memoirs and poetry called, "I Chase Rivers," in the fall. I am also working on a book currently. There's a third book I may self-publish in the Spring.

Personally, I don't have to be "inspired." Writing, in my opinion, is both art and craft. There are times when inspiration hits. You're at the keyboard and when you plan on writing an hour, next thing you know it's midnight when you started at 9 p.m. But, there are those times when you just sit down and write. It may be a slog, but you get those paragraphs in whether good or bad. If you wait for the muse, you'll never have anything. Inspiration hits when you find yourself hidden away in the back of your mind, deep within the story and the characters.
