J.A. Canter Writer's block happens when I write myself into a corner. It's a symptom. I have to back track, identify the real problem, and resolve it with re-writing.
J.A. Canter When I was a child I lied a lot. When I was a teenager I lied a lot. Now that I'm an adult I still lie a lot, but it's all in the name of storytelling so it's okay. Win-win.

J.A. Canter Oh - writing is in my blood, along with my zeal for coffee and hot tamale candies. Apparently I was born with a few fixations. I didn't consider it a serious venture for myself until just a few years ago. My serious efforts started as fun writing and sharing one day, to an established author taking me under her wing and encouraging me to stick with it.
J.A. Canter My current novel in progress, nearing completion, is about a young girl, Viette, and her venture from noble in her homeland to being a slave and later courtesan in her enemy's Royal House. It started as a call back to the olden days of Bodice Rippers - just a short story - but quickly morphed into its own beast.
