Christopher Mannino Being able to share your dreams or the deepest images in your imagination with others. Stephen King once called writing the only real type of magic. I can put an idea in your mind, without you actually seeing it.

How do you get inspired to write?

Christopher Mannino Travel and nature are big parts of inspiration to me. There was a featured post today about the Bodelian Library in Oxford- that's where I started writing School of Deaths, right after a super-inspiring trip getting stranded in Tintagel, Cornwall. I was surrounded by inspiration, and doing inspiring things. Other times,inspirations just in the backyard. Last week I walked outside at twilight and a tree was sparkling: filled with hundreds of fireflies, while clouds of bats circled overhead (do bats eat fireflies?) The effect was amazing, and truly magical.
