B.J. Somerville I'm looking forward to reading Girling Up by Mayim Bialik
B.J. Somerville There are many ways to write. For a long time writing was a hobby, now it's a second job. The common thing about both those times was the fact that I love what I'm doing. I love telling stories. I heard once that to be a serious writer you have to set aside time every day to write. Maybe that works for some people but for me I have to be in the mood. If I'm on a roll I may write for ten hours straight, some days I'm drawing a blank. Do what you love and find out the way that works best for you. There is no one way. Enjoy.
B.J. Somerville I probably sound a little weird for saying this but I don't think of writing in that way. I have so many projects and ideas going on at any one time that if I come to a place in a story that I don't know where to take the story next I move on to another project. I don't stress about writing. Writing and telling stories for me is a fun thing to do. I continue to be productive and when the time is right it will come to me.
B.J. Somerville For me inspiration is a gift of the divine. Inspiration usually comes from many sources. I am a people watcher, I love to see people in all kinds of interesting situations and notice how they react. I dream a lot and have written down many of my more peculiar dreams so those are often woven into my stories but I would say the root of my stories usually come from a desire for social justice. Put all three of those ingredients together and voila a story is born.
B.J. Somerville I've completed Book six of the Marcus II series - "The Drummond Divergence" and I've sent it to the editor's desk. It should be available for sale this summer.

I'm currently writing a second book in The Dark Hour Series called "The Whydah Experiment." The story follows the main characters Ivy and Ramona as they continue to discover what brought about "The Dark Hour."
