My advice would be: if you’re an aspiring author and you have a story that you want to tell, go with it, follow your dream and get your work shared to the public. The more, the merrier. Remember, there are no limits to the imagination, believe in yourself and express your visions into words. The road to publication can be bumpy, I know first hand, and at times, moral can flee, but stay vigilant and don’t give up, your work will get published and it will be an amazing moment in your life.

Take a break, listen to something soothing, have a nap, plot a structure for a story and then follow it while adding things as you go along are great ways to deal with writer's block.

Being able to turn your deepest fantasies and personal ideas into words and see it immortalized as a book for people to read and enjoy. Seeing your work as a book, your own baby created by you and sharing it to readers, giving them a compelling story that they will enjoy and want to read again makes it all worthwhile.

Many different ways, sometimes I see or hear something that gives me an idea to flesh out, sometimes I have a dream which would make an interesting story, or I see a film or read a book which inspires me by getting my creative juices flowing. There are so many ways to spark inspiration.

With my most recent book "Zombie Forest", I was inspired by the 70s and 80s European horror movies, most particularly Jean Rollin's 1981 movie "Le lac des morts vivants" (Zombie Lake), but while it is a homage to the Euro horror films, I also added my own unique spin on the zombie genre.

I am currently working on a novella called "Sexed Out" which is a sort of homage to the 60s, 70s british sex comedies like Carry On, The Confessions series and even the obscure 1979 sex comedy Spaced Out.
