My most recent book is my first book, and the idea to write it came from a series of flash fiction stories I wrote. The protagonist is a combination of men I've know through my life and a bit of myself thrown in.

The best thing about being a writer is writing what I want to read and knowing that other people are reading what I've written and are enjoying what they're reading.

How I deal with writer's block is by not writing. I just do anything else I want to do like play video games, read, tinker with computers, surf the Web (I spend a lot of time online), add to my HTML and CSS knowledge, and sleep. If an idea comes to me, I just note it down somewhere and keep doing other things until an idea strikes me so strongly that I feel compelled to write about it.
