It was a short story idea. I fell in love with the character and wondered who he would clash with the most. Then I forced them together which gave me enough conflict for a story.

I don't. I sit myself down and make myself do it. The muse won't come to you, you need to make her appear.

Read everything. Write every day. Remember that it's okay to suck, you can re-write later and you will get better. Be prepared for the long haul but don't ever give up.
