Diana C. Reep Having just finished Chicago Movie Girls set in 1914 Chicago, I'd love to have been able to experience the energy of the booming city at the time. World War I was still a far away European problem, but the movie business in Chicago was surging. Studios were especially open to women writers, directors and producers. Would have loved to explore those possibilities.

Diana C. Reep Scarlett and Rhett in Gone With the Wind. I'm always intrigued by couples who move back and forth along the love story line. The two have a great conflicted relationship during a time of danger and desperation.
Diana C. Reep I've always loved the old movie The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. When coming up with a YA romantic adventure set in 1914, I needed a different time travel hook. Having a ghost take the heroine back to the past with a kiss was the most romantic time travel method I could think of.
