Ethan Proud My advice would be don't give up. Your first attempt is not likely to be a full length story, I can't tell you how many stories I've started and never finished. Also if a story goes stagnant, don't be afraid to start another one up and maybe you'll get back to it. If not, it probably wasn't going to happen anyways. You shouldn't have to force yourself to write. While writing Rebellion, my older brother and I got sick of it and didn't think it was any good. We deleted it and about a week later we realized our error and recovered it from the recycling bin.
Ethan Proud My mother forced me to read as a child and luckily for me I was pretty nerdy before hitting puberty and competing in sports. I've always been a book worm and after reading so much I decided I wanted to try writing. I have always had a very active imagination and writing is purely fun for me. I suppose I can thank my mom for my interest in books and writing.
Ethan Proud The idea for my most recent book, Rebellion, didn't come as a flash of inspiration and the general layout of the plot changed throughout the whole story. As a child I always loved read, especially fantasy, and I enjoyed numerous attempts at writing as I grew up. Rebellion was just a story that I started with my older brother and it continued to evolve. As we kept writing the plot and characters just kept the momentum going and it was fun to write it from start to finish.
