Currently I'm working on two projects simultaneously, a sci-fi/fantasy pulp fiction e-zine called 'THRILLING SPECTACULAR TALES!' and the second novel in my 'HAWTHORNE: Chronicles of the Brass Hand' series.
I hope to have 'THRILLING' finished "real soon now", and the second 'HAWTHORNE' book about this time next year.
Scheduling issues have slowed development on both projects but I am able to say they are both, albeit slowly, moving steadily forward.

Stop aspiring and start writing. As long as you 'aspire' to be a writer, you'll never actually 'be' a writer. Look, if you've written something, anything; a poem, short story, novella, rap song, you are a writer. Whether you're paid to be a writer or not is another topic completely. Being paid or not paid doesn't define whether or not you are a writer. Writing defines whether or not you are a writer. I know authors who sell thousands of books that aren't worth the paper they're written on and I know authors who write for themselves and are deserving of a Pulitzer. Writers write; dreamers dream. Be a writer that writes, not a writer that dreams of writing.
