I wanted to write a zombie book because I love love love the genre. I also wanted my take on the zombieverse to be a little different than the 'see how long the protagonist can survive' bit.

Sometimes I just force myself to do it - I am a terribly disorganized creative person who does best with a strict routine which seems like an oxymoron. Other times I get an idea and have to write about before it is gone.

I am working on the sequel to Running with the Horde as well as two other projects not related to zombies. The first is also PA and the second is a sci-fi fantasy idea I've been puttering with for years.

Sometimes I just write anyway and it turns out to be mostly garbage. Eventually some new thread will pop up that I like and I will follow it. For a time that will take care of writer's block for me...until it comes back.
