The best thing that I can say about being a writer is the freedom it accords. Writing is therapeutic for me. It is my main outlet and as an aspiring teacher it is a very effective tool for reflection.
I am able to see clearly my growth as a firstly as a woman, secondly as a leader and finally as a writer whenever I scan through previous my previous works

Writing for me is a fluid process, so I never set strict deadlines for work and that eliminates the day to day stresses of writers block for me. What I have learnt over the years is to listen to my inner writer so I keep tools handy. I install jotter pad to my electronics and I keep a note pad with me always when inspiration goes the way of the old school
