This isn't so much as a question but a happy comment from a born and raised Vermonter! Though I live in Upstate NY now, I lived my first 34 years in Central Vermont. My brother went to UVM so I was always in the Burlington area as well. I love reading your stories and hearing of these places! :) ?

Rachel Lacey Love that! I moved to Vermont about 3 years ago, and it's my new favorite setting for my books - so much beautiful scenery!

Rachel Lacey Sorry that I totally missed this when you first asked! I don't have one favorite, but Lost in Paradise will always hold a special place in my heart as the first sapphic book I wrote (I loved writing it SO much that I drafted it in a week!) And I've been writing sapphic ever since...

Oh my gosh, when are we getting Noelle's story? I'm finishing up Cover Story and I need it! I mean, no rush but also.... *giddy screams*.

Rachel Lacey It won't be as soon as I had hoped (because I have a few other books to write first) but I do have a book planned and plotted for Noelle. I need a few things to fall into place for me to write it, so...fingers crossed!

I loved Crash and Burn in the Stranded series and was wondering if there will be another release in that series soon? Thanks!

Rachel Lacey Thanks so much, Debbie! :) I'm hoping to release the second book in that series in 2018. I don't have a date yet, but it is definitely in the works!

I loved your Love to the Rescue Series and am wondering if you have any new books coming out?

Rachel Lacey Hi Holly! Thank you so much; I'm so happy you enjoyed my Love to the Rescue Series! And yes - I have a new series coming out next summer called Risking It All. The first book is Run To You, and it will be out August 30th, but there will be a novella kicking off the series before that, I just don't have an official title and release date to share on that one yet.

I did not realize you were from NC... That makes you special to me, since I'm a North Carolinian. I read lots of authors but my fasination with N.Sparks. K.Reichs and even P. Cornwell has to do with their writing about places I've been or lived. Do you see a North Carolina novel in the future? I'll have to purchase and become a great fan you know!!!! Rachel Lacey Hi Karen! Actually all of my books to date are set in North Carolina. Unleashed, For Keeps, and Ever After take place in the fictional small town of Dogwood, just outside Raleigh. I love finding books that are set here in NC too - we have such a great state! :) Thanks so much for your question.

This isn't a question but a comment. In For Keeps you portrayed SPD and Aspergers very well. I have both among other disorders and glad you protrayed them in a good light?

Rachel Lacey Hi Chris! I'm so glad you thought so. My son also has SPD, so I was definitely writing from the heart with the kids at Camp Blue Sky, and it was very important to me to get it right. Actually, my research into equine therapy for this book has made me very interested in trying it with my son. Thanks so much for writing!
