Daniel Millhouse I just finished a short story (about 2000 words) that I call "Our Last Night" about a poor Navy man and his fiancée from a rich family in 1941. I'm going to look around to see if I can find a publication that is looking to print short stories, so I can promote my other work more.
Daniel Millhouse "Heaven's Darkside" was originally a graphic novel I wrote, but without an artist. Artistically I was looking for something similar to Frank Miller's "Sin City". Black and White with grittiness. I had wrote different versions of the story about eight times, with as many as a team of seven characters fighting for Heaven's Darkside. I condensed it down because I didn't want too many characters confusing the readers. Not sure where the main story line came from. The initial idea popped in my head nearly fifteen years ago.
Daniel Millhouse Pay attention to life around you. You'll watch the news, read true stories in books, and stories of your own life and be able to think weave together stories of your own.
