Currently on deck in final edits are books 5, 6 and 7 in the adventure series, The Decaturs. There's a lot of drama that carries the big continuing story ahead, with favorite characters growing with expanding roles, across a great expanse of exotic territory and terrain on three continents.

One of the goals is to introduce to the audience a different part of the world, through engaging characters and interesting locales. So, just venturing outside and walking the street to mingle with people young and old, in four different types of traditional robes and dresses, seeing the juxtapositions of horse carts and shiny new sedans, barefoot children trotting past women in the latest styles of high heels and all gingerly negotiating puddles and newly hand-dug open ditches for fiber-optic cables is like an exposed surface diamond field of inspiration.

In Time of Peril and A Difficult Damsel to Rescue are modern updates of popular adventures of the early 18th century. Begun in 2003 they are the first two books issued of a ten-year writing project. They were both begun in India and completed in Africa, so their tone and concepts were actually formed by experiences, influences and current issues on two other continents.
