Hi Lisa, Firstly, I am very sorry to hear of your health troubles. To answer your question, I am not a proofreader. I have to hire one myself for all my books. I see that you write a variety or genre's - I think the place to start is a Google search or look up some of the authors who have published in your genres to see whom they have used to proof their books. Hi Anna, I hope you are well. Thank you for the lovely compliment. No I am not a photographer. I worked in the fashion industry for several years, before becoming an author. I have worked on the sets of photo-shoots and helped to create several editorials for various campaigns and photo spreads for my own online magazine Fashion Wrap Up. Dealing with writer's block... I usually step away for a while and focus on another project. Believe it or not, sometimes simple household duties get my creative juices flowing. There is something calming about doing the dishes and listening to music that can provide some clarity for a new scene or how to continue a plot line.

The best thing about being a writer is being creative and developing stories that people love, and that every day is different. I love waking up and tackling my to do list then it's off to the races--social media, chatting with readers, friends and fellow authors... writing... blogging... I never know where the day will take me.

My advice for Aspiring Writers... aspire to be a better writer every single day. Write something... anything, every day. Figure out your writing style and perfect that each time you write. Never, ever give up... every amazing story needs a bold voice to tell it.

Sometimes getting inspired to write is as simple as talking to one of my fellow author friends or even just re-reading some of the story I have written. Music, fashion, pop-culture, film and photography all inspire my writing. Some days, just hovering around Pinterest sparks inspiration.
