Tina DeSalvo This is the hard and easy thing for me. Writing is easy...sitting my butt in the chair is the challenge sometimes. So many things call me out of the chair-- And, since I have committed myself to LIVE IN THE MOMENT and to enjoy everything that life offers that appeals to me...well, that is the biggest challenge to my writing.
Tina DeSalvo I actually am working on two projects! So much fun! One is a new series I'm doing - At the Inn on Cloud Hill. It is a new setting for me, one I LOVE - the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Keeping with the types of stories I enjoy writing, this is set in a small town. It has a cast of fun characters you'll get to enjoy as you read about the Four sisters this series is about - Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer. Yes, the series will take place over the four seasons in the village of Cloud Hill. The first story, is a Christmas anthology - which is part of the Nutcracker Reimagined, Christmas Collection (available October 2017!).
The other project I am currently editing is an historical western - The Fathers of Victoria Gallin! Yes! An historical western. Oh, I love the wild west. I hope you do too. This will be released in March 2018.
Tina DeSalvo Write. Write. Write. Stop thinking about it and DO IT! Butt in chair...
Tina DeSalvo The very best thing about being a writer is being able to create characters I love to hang out with- then putting them in situations that challenge them. It is up there with getting to meet readers!
Tina DeSalvo I don't. I fortunately never had it. I sit and I write. Sometimes the story doesn't flow as well as other times, but I keep typing away. What I do have trouble with at times is getting my butt in the chair to write!
Tina DeSalvo Thanks for asking! I was invited to be part of the Magnolia and Moonshine anthology with 20 authors attending the Romantic Times Convention in Atlanta the first week of May. This series had to be set, at least partially, in Atlanta. So, I started to think, if I wanted some of my characters from my Second Chance series to be in this book, I had to get them to Atlanta...the what ifs began then...And, Out-lanta was born.
