Just do it. Set yourself a goal, and then stick to a writing schedule. Make the schedule a little flexible, but stick to it the best you can. For instance, I make an outline, and then make a calendar with all the chapters on the calendar and then I write a chapter every 2 weeks. If I finish a little early or run over, I'm not too concerned. I just stick to task.

Getting my thoughts out in complete form. Sometimes I tend to ramble when I talk...the writing helps me get my ideas out in the context I need them to take shape in.

I set myself a writing schedule and just plow through it until it clicks. Then I go back and fix what may not have worked. The more you write, the more it flows easily.

I have always loved the character of Merlin the Magician, since back in my teenage years where friends morphed my given name of Marilyn magically into Merlyn (it's even in my HS yearbook!)
I always felt that Merlin the Mage got a bad rap with his folkloric tragic end. As a female and as a writer, I wanted to right the wrongs...while still staying true to the legends! I believe I have done this in my book!
