S.M. Koz Hi Susan,

So glad you enjoyed the book. Your note about Brad makes me especially happy. "Bad" boys seem to be all the rage right now and I wanted to do something the complete opposite. I wasn't sure how he'd be received, so getting messages like yours is great.

As far as the next book, yes, I'm thinking probably not until Nov or Dec. Sorry! I was hoping to do it sooner, but my real job started picking up and I don't want to commit to something I might not be able to deliver.

Thanks for the note!
Shannon
S.M. Koz Hi Daisy! Thanks for the message. Yes, I'm planning on releasing more books in the Incongruent Figures series! I'm working on the next one now and hope to release it by the end of the year. I'll post updates on Facebook as it gets closer, so follow me there if you're on FB.
S.M. Koz Hi Brianna,

Thanks so much for your question! I was hoping to publish the second book fairly soon, but my real job got in the way :) I'll get on it ASAP and hopefully have it out by the end of the year. So happy to hear you enjoyed my book and especially Brad. I had a lot of fun writing him. Everyone seems to be into "bad" boys these days, so I wanted to do something the complete opposite. I wasn't sure how he'd be received, so I'm happy to hear you like him!

S.M. Koz Mariela - My plan is to have a paperback version out by the end of the year!
S.M. Koz Hi Rachel,

Great questions! Breaking Free is a stand alone, although a second edition may include an epilogue :) I've had a number of people want to know what happens to the main characters after the last page. It's all in my head, but I haven't put it on paper yet.

And, yes, I'm definitely writing more books! I'm currently outlining my next one. It will also be YA and follow some teens who have had a challenging past. Oh, and a love story. Everything I write has to have a love story. That doesn't really tell you much, does it? Let's just say, I'm drawing from my experience as a foster parent and the male protagonist will have bounced around foster homes for a number of years. Throughout the course of the book, he'll have to make some really difficult decisions while the female protagonist faces her own life-altering situation.

Thanks for your interest!
